Chicago · builder at heart
I like turning ideas into things that grow.
Companies, mostly. I write now and then, host community meetups, play too much pickleball, and spend my days helping founders across the country grow.
01 — Writing
All →A handful of essays from a much younger me — most written between 2013 and 2017. I keep them here as an archive, not a running blog. They’re a time capsule, and I’ve left them as they were.
02 — What I do
I spent 7.5 years cofounding Albert.io in edtech, then led growth at Instrumentl, where I helped take the company from $1M to past $20M in ARR.
These days I advise founders through Grow with Will, and host Build & Tell — a small twice-monthly table in Chicago for people building with AI.
03 — Off the clock
A lot of my time outside work goes to bringing people together — I host community meetups and gatherings for folks who like building things.
The rest goes to pickleball — possibly too much of it. In a past life I was a serious boulderer; these days it’s mostly the court.
“You do you, and I’ll do me.”
